The name, "Nā Wai ʻEhā", translates to the "The Four Waters" which consists of Waikapu, Wailuku, Waiehu, and Waihe'e, on the beautiful island of Maui. It is here that the four members of Na Wai ‘Eha were born and is the common thread that brought them together to create and celebrate music. The group is made up of two sets of brothers, Kalanikini and Kahikina Juan and Kamalei and Kamaehu Kawa’a. The 12 songs on their debut self-titled album is connected to their birthplace and their families. This CD includes 9 originals songs by the band members and 3 classic covers.
