Chinese Sweet-Sour Spareribs NOH
Vinegar Powder, Soy Sauce Powder (Wheat, Soy Beans, Salt, Maltodextrin), Sugar, Ginger Powder, Cornstarch, Caramel Color, Calcium Silicate, Spices.
Just add water. 1 pkg. NOH Chinese Sweet-Sour Seasoning mix, 1/2 cup of water.1 pound spareribs, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Optional - 1 cup pineapple chunks (1 inch squares). Spareribs: Combine contents of package with 1/2 cup water; blend well and set aside. Place 1 pound of spareribs, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces, into a saucepan; add enough water to cover ribs. Bring to a boil and cook 30 minutes, or until tender. Discard cooking liquid. Pour Sweet-Sour sauce over ribs and simmer 5 to 10 minutes; basting frequently. Add pineapple chunks, if desired. This is an excellent low cholesterol recipe.
